Picpoul is a fascinating grape that traditionally is used for blending with other whites in Chateauneuf de Pape. Our version is crisp and clean with bold preserved lemon and hints of honeydew melon.
This Roussanne is golden in the glass with an aroma of ripe tropical fruit, honeycomb, spices and baked apple. It’s medium to full bodied with a round middle and a hint of floral notes on the finish.
It’s fair to say I was influenced early in my wine life by the whites from Tablas Creek Winery in Paso Robles, especially their “Esprit de Tablas Blanc”, and this is my homage to that wine.
Big, bold, dark and spicy, this is definitely a California Syrah. In the glass the color is deep red, tending towards purple.
Darker than you might expect, bone-dry and austere, this is a Rosé of Grenache with just a touch of Picpoul Blanc to brighten the palate.
