Time to start thinking about thinning out the shoots. Typically we'd like two shoots per spur and will go through and remove the extras.
Peas blooming in the vineyard. They're planted in the rows as a "Cover Crop" to reduce erosion, add nitrogen, and just look nice.

Vineyard Views
The first Chardonnay leaves begin to push out.
A week after budbreak the first leaves are pushing out.
The grape clusters are actually formed very early in the process. In fact if you cut a bud open before it grows you can see the future leaves and clusters.
